Real Jesus

We see a church being gathered that will be centered on the person and mission of Jesus. He is our Savior, we love Him, we desire to design and maintain a community of believers that keep Christ and His mission at the center of all that we do. We do not simply believe in “God” in a generic way—we believe that God is revealed to the world in Jesus Christ, and he now operates in and through his followers, the Church. We will preach Jesus, pray in Jesus’ name, sing His name in our songs, and share testimonies of how Jesus has impacted us and transformed us. This is more than just an idea—He is our way, our truth and our life. We long to develop our passionate love affair with our redeemer through worship, devotion and obedience.

Real Life

River City Church will be driven by a passion to see people know Jesus, serve Jesus, and show Jesus, through real life. We desire people to come to know Jesus in a real way, as their savior, their friend, and their God. We are passionate about discipleship and people serving Jesus in every area, and at every time of their lives. We are unwavering in our conviction that each person in River City Church shows others this real Jesus, not only by words, but by their actions. We believe that Jesus Christ is just as relevant today, as he was 2000 years ago. He is not simply a religious figure, but a life-changing Savior that is for all people at all times.
